ABOUT ME
BEHIND THE LENS
Paul, originally from Norfolk, served an apprenticeship and worked on all aspects of photography before changing his career to wildlife conservation. He combined these interests using his photographs of wildlife and the countryside to illustrate lectures, books and magazine articles.
Paul is a traditional photographer, using darkroom techniques with film and chemicals to produce black and white images. Although he still prefers working in black and white, Paul now uses digital techniques to interpret the wild landscape and its people.
Having lived in various regions of England, Wales and France he has returned to his home in Norfolk where he is enjoying photographing the East Anglian landscape again.
Paul has held exhibitions throughout East Anglia and France and produced a photographic book depicting the life and people of the village of Wingham in Kent.
Paul remains a passionate conservationist and has recently held exhibitions on plastic pollution on the Norfolk coast.
